How to use the guide

The Guide is divided into 4 Modules and reflects the structure of the 4Export Curriculum for

in-company tutors to upgrade internationalisation:

Module 1 – Structuring the Training

Module 2 – Generic Competences for Tutors

Module 3 – Specific Competences

Module 4 – Competences for assessment

Each module includes:

• Self-assessment tools in relation to the module learning to check where you stand
before and after attending the module lessons;

• Additional activities and exercises to put what you have learned through the module
in practice and test yourself;
• Peer assessment involving group activities during which participants will be asked to
provide each other feedback based on what they have learned

Typology of learners

The Self-Directed learning Guide is supposed to be used by in-company tutors working with
apprentices who are in charge of supporting them throughout the path in collaboration with
public and private education centres. The Guide is also thought for those aspiring to work as
in-company tutors.
