               Module 3

               What is this chapter about?
The third module refers to active listening while it also introduces ways of how in-company
trainers could motivate the apprentices, support and encourage them and help them
participate actively in the learning process. Active listening is a very relevant skill for in-

company tutors. Indeed, active listening allows to motivate the apprentices and to support
               them develop a work-appropriate behaviour.

By supporting the apprentices, in-company tutors can ensure their professional development,
but also their personal growth. In-company tutors can come up with many ways for
encouraging apprentices to achieve their best in a work environment, and use their
knowledge and skills, but also by developing new ones, that will affect their careers and
               personal lives.
