               Peer Assessment

To finalise the work on this module, we invite you to carry out a group exercise to practice

your ability to provide peer assessment. Basically, we will use the previous exercise named
“The rules of the Positive Environment”. The group will be divided in 2 parts: group A and
group B. All of you should complete the set of rules individually. Once you have completed
your set of rules, you will exchange the sets among you, so that each participant from group
A receives the set of rules of a participant of group B. Then, you will need to assess the work
your peer has done; to do so, you can follow the template we provide you in this exercise:

RULES OF POSITIVE ENVIRONMENT PEER ASSESSMENT

                 Are the rules SMART?
                 (Specific, Measurable, Achievable,
                 Relevant, Time-Oriented)

                 Are they easy to understand?

Do they bear in mind the apprentice and
                 the tutor?

                 Do they promote communication?

Do they encourage the trainee to learn
                 and try new things?

Are they applicable on a daily basis?

                 Other comments

The main aim is to look for ways to improve the content created; for example, maybe they
can be more specific in a rule, or maybe there is a rule that could be difficult to implement in
real life… you can base your opinion on your own experience. After reviewing it, you will
explain to your colleague the comments you made on how the set created could be improved,
and together you will be able to finalise the set of rules and make it perfect!
